One of the advantages of living in a small town is easy access to the local shops and restaurants. Retiring to Fog Hollow in East Point, Georgia affords me an opportunity to find all kinds of interesting places during my 2 mile walk.
Every town has a Main Street and today’s journey took me there while listening and walking to AfroBeat music! I love Burna Boy!
While walking a steady beat, I was stopped to watch Dawn Patrice standing in front of a local business, called “The Core Total Body Salon Wellness Spa” taking pictures. I was encouraged to enter. Being that I am thrift store queen, I decided to step in. Ms. Patrice is the owner of “A Dose of Dawn”, a Personal Consultant. In addition to her consulting business, she also runs a Consignment Shop at The Core.
Ms. Dawn is a wealth of personality, friendly, spirited, and a dynamic speaker. I enjoyed talking with her and the tour she provided of The Core. It’s a large place, with space big enough for their Free Yoga classes, a nail shop and a products shelf with soaps and oils. She has designer items in the consignment area where I purchased a scarf and a pair of earrings.
I look forward to having Ms. Dawn as a guest on my Hot and Mobile Podcast where we will discuss Women and how they are perceived in the media. STAY TUNED!
